Read in Ramadan for atleast 70 times more blessings (sawaab). Manzil consists of 33 ayats (verses) of Holy Quran Pak which are sourced from various Surah. 'Surah Manzil' is not a book or surah in Islam rather Manzil Dua consists of several verses which are parts of Surah Al-Faatiha, Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah Aal-e-Imran, Surah Al-A'araf, Surah Al-Israa,Surah Al-Muminoon, Surah Al-Saffaat, Surah Al.
For the convenience of those who read the Quran in a week the text may be divided into seven portions, each known as Manzil.[1]
The following division to 7 equal portions is by Hamza Al-Zayyat (d.156/772):[1]
- Al-Fatihah (chapter 1) through An-Nisa' (chapter 4) consisting of 4 chapters (Surah).
- Al-Ma'ida (chapter 5) through At-Tawba (chapter 9) consisting of 5 chapters.
- Yunus (chapter 10) through An-Nahl (chapter 16) consisting of 7 chapters.
- Al Isra' (chapter 17) through Al-Furqan (chapter 25) consisting of 9 chapters.
- Ash-Shuara' (chapter 26) through Ya-Seen (chapter 36) consisting of 11 chapters.
- As-Saaffat (chapter 37) through Al-Hujurat (chapter 49) consisting of 13 chapters.
- Qaf (chapter 50) through An-Nas (chapter 114) consisting of 65 chapters.

Manzil is a collection of Ayaat and short Surahs from the Quran that are to be recited as a means of protection and antidote from black Magic, Jinn, Witchcraft, Sihr, Sorcery, Evil Eye and the like as well as other harmful things.
The Manzil comprises the following verses of the Quran:

Surah Al-Bakarah (chapter 2): verses 1 to 5, 163, 255 to 257, and 284 to 286
Surah Al-Imran (chapter 3): verses 18, 26 and 27

Surah Al-Muminoon (chapter 23): verses 115 to 118

The entire manzil is prescribed to be read one or three times in one sitting. This may be performed once or twice a day, in the latter case once in the morning and once in the evening.
